I started Shand Kydd Flowers literally out of the back of my car selling pretty tied bunches to passers by. This was then upgraded to Northampton train station on Friday nights. From there my tiny business has grown into what it is today.

Our ethos has always been to produce beautiful florals in wild and wonderful ways. No floral foam in sight, using reusable mechanics and as much as possible using English grown flowers and foliage. We love creating things which definitely look like they could have been grown in situ. Lots of arching stems, vines, delicate bobbing heads, hips and berries, an abundance of textured foliage, scented English roses, herbs, geranium leaves some of the fabulous things we LOVE using.

We love building bonds with our clients. The events we get involved in are usually one-off very special affairs, from weddings to special birthdays to memorials. We love the journeys we create with people, from walking through the floral vision to seeing it morph into reality.
